Nissan's Best-Sellers of 2022
We are more than halfway through the year now, and with the upcoming releases of 2023 models, it's a great time to reflect on what progress was made this past year and how much growth we have seen! Nissan produced some great models for us this past year, and as your Nissan dealer, we really want to highlight those amazing 2022 releases in case you missed them or haven't had a chance to check them out. There's a lot to get to, so let's get started!
There are certain vehicles that have always been more popular than others. Why certain vehicles draw more attention can come down to function, size, purpose, usability, and more. So there are quite a few variables, but for Nissan, these are some of the most popular vehicles for the 2022 year and why we think they are topping the charts for many of our customers.
2022 Nissan Sentra
The 2022 Nissan Sentras came straight to and then right off the lot, it seems like, and we couldn't have been happier with the number of happy Sentra drivers we saw. This car is incredible inside and out. This front-wheel drive sedan comes in automatic or manual, and that makes it a really enjoyable car for drivers. Nissan also offers the Sentra in seven trims. That really allows you to have a bit of a personal touch on your car, and that really made a lot of our customers happy. Another reason we are seeing the Sentras come and go so quickly is their budget-friendly price and fuel economy. You can't beat a good deal, and the Sentras are, without a doubt, a great deal!
2022 Nissan Altima
Whether it's the overall fuel economy of 7.9 L/100 km, the exterior and interior aesthetics, the 20 cm infotainment screen, or the smooth driving capabilities, the 2022 Nissan Altima has appealed to a lot of drivers. The beauty of this vehicle is its versatility. Its standard all-wheel drive powertrain is another selling point for the Altima, and it's no wonder it has been one of the most sought-after vehicles from Nissan dealers across Canada. Nissan was also able to keep the Altimas priced fairly, and many 2022 Altima drivers have commented that they feel like they got a great value! Available in a few different trims, the 2022 Nissan Altima is able to adapt to any driver, and that's what keeps them cruising off our lot.
2022 Nissan Rogue
Compact SUVs have certainly become more and more popular throughout the years, and that trend is definitely seen here. Our Nissan Rogues were nearly flying off the lot right after we got them in. These incredible vehicles were seeing to it that our customers' dollars were going as far as possible in the form of both initial purchase price and fuel efficiency. The 2022 Rogue is sporty and sleek on the exterior, and this was a big draw for many.
The fact that the Rogue is now available with either a standard 2.5L engine or a more powerful and more efficient turbocharged engine made many buyers very happy. That customizability doesn't stop at the engine though––drivers are able to select from five different trims to really deck out their Rogue however they see fit. This model is incredibly popular, and we were more than happy to send our customers on their way in a 2022 Rogue.
2022 Nissan Kicks
Whether you are getting your kicks on or getting in your Kicks, you really can't go wrong. The 2022 Nissan Kicks has been incredibly popular. We can attribute this to its compact size, paired with its roomy interior, 20 cm infotainment screen, and 7.2 L/100 km fuel efficiency. When it comes to compact SUVs, there are very few that look as good as the Kicks does, and we can definitely see why they were so popular amongst our customers.
2022 Nissan Pathfinder
The allure of the Nissan Pathfinder is undeniable. Three-row SUVs are usually bulky and less attractive––that is not the case for the Pathfinders. Nissan was able to expertly craft the interior and exterior of this beautiful SUV so that it looks clean on the outside but still has plenty of room on the inside. For our three-row SUVs, the Pathfinder was very popular due to its look and how capable it is.
The amazing fuel efficiency was another consideration that made keeping Pathfinders on the lot an impossible task. Despite being a large vehicle with all-wheel drive and a V6 engine, the 2022 Pathfinder gets a combined 10.5 L/100 km. That puts it around some midsize sedans! The 1,588 kg towing capacity was another selling point for the Pathfinder, and we have often found ourselves waving goodbye as these beautiful vehicles get driven off the lot.
2022 Nissan Frontier
Trucks are great for a lot of things. Luckily for Northside Nissan customers, Nissan has had quite a few great truck options throughout the years, and 2022 was no different. The redesigned 2022 Nissan Frontier has gotten a lot of positive feedback from drivers. This truck can handle just about anything you can think of needing to do. The fact that it is a midsize truck is another pro because the Frontier is very maneuverable and can work its way around a lot of tight situations. Since it's a smaller truck, our drivers are also seeing great fuel efficiency.
The combined fuel economy of the 2022 Frontier is 11.3 L/100 km. This truck is able to transition from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive with ease, and that makes it incredibly versatile on the roads, regardless of the driving conditions. Being a midsize truck doesn't make the Frontier any less capable though. Being able to tow up to 2,944 kg makes this truck just as tough as some full-size options. It's really not a surprise we've had so many people interested in these.
2022 Overall Favorite
It's hard to narrow down all the amazing vehicles we have to just one, but it can be done. After a lot of consideration, it seems that the overall favourite 2022 Nissan model has been the Nissan Rogue. It really isn't all that surprising. The 2022 Rogue has all the benefits of an SUV, a sedan, and a truck rolled and packed into one gorgeous vehicle. The Rogue's all-wheel drive allows it to go anywhere you can imagine, the good fuel efficiency means it's affordable to go anywhere you can imagine, and the cargo capacity means you can take whoever and whatever you can imagine with you!
It seems that the majority of drivers want to be able to go and do whatever they can think up, with everyone and everything they can take with them! And we don't blame them. The Rogue is definitely a vehicle that gets you amazing value for your dollar. Not to mention, it looks great while doing its job.
2022 is coming and going as fast as these cars have been, and we have loved being able to help each of our customers find the right fit for them. These vehicles have been the most popular and beloved on the Northside Nissan lot. As far as 2022 goes, Nissan has seen a lot of great vehicles find great homes, and we can't wait to see what 2023 is going to offer up!
