Performance
To start our tour of the Nissan Rogue S off, we’ll begin with the 1.5L 3-cylinder engine it has underneath the hood. With this at your side, your trips will be energized with up to 201 horsepower and 225 lb.-ft. of torque. You won’t have to worry about burning through too much gas while you wait at red lights since the idle stop/start can activate when the car comes to a complete halt and will reignite it when you take your foot off the brake. If you’re worried about the winter snow covering the ground, then you can use the Intelligent AWD1 to gain better traction. Additionally, you can use the Drive Mode Dial to select between the Standard, Eco, Sport, Snow, and Off-Road Modes, as each is suited for a different type of situation.
Driver Assistance
Whatever stresses you may have traveling around South East Edmonton will be alleviated with the driver assistance features inside of the 2026 Nissan Rogue S. As you’re heading down Highway 16, the Cruise Control will be able to help you maintain a set pace. Before you change lanes, the Blind Spot Warning2 system will let you know if another motorist is at your side. When you pull out of your parking space, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert3 will use various sensors and cameras to let you know if another vehicle is coming your way. If you happen to slip out of the bounds on the road, you can expect the Lane Departure Warning4 to let you know so that you can get back on track.
Interior
On the inside of the 2026 Rogue S is an array of comforts that can make for a more relaxing journey to Mill Woods Golf Course. When you need to escape the clutches of the frigid winter, you can activate the heated front seats to quickly thaw out. This level of luxury also extends upwards with the heated TailorFit™-wrapped steering wheel, which also has a distinct look and feel to it. If you and your partner can never agree on what the cabin climate should be at, then the dual zone automatic temperature control can help. This also comes with rear passenger vents, so your guests in the back can also get some circulated air. If you’re looking to store larger items while also carrying people in the back, you can use the 60/40-split fold-down rear seat to maximize your space. We have an electrical problem with our right signal light not working so they conducted an inspection to find that maybe it is the weak battery and battery clamp causing the problem. Our Nissan is no longer under warranty and therefore it is cheaper by FAR to have service done elsewhere!!!! For example the dealer is charging $200.00 for a measly battery clamp WHAT??? And $375.00 for a new battery? Plus labour on top of the $575.00 quote…I went to Canadian Tire and they replaced both battery clamps and put in a brand new battery including labour, all for $350.00!!!! SO….Nissan Dealer, I will come to see you when the only service available to me is not available anywhere else! Otherwise my brakes will be done elsewhere because again the price is outrageous!!!! But Ross is one great associate who was very polite and accommodating and made us feel very comfortable!!! ”
“ BUYER BEWARE: New Nissan vehicles do NOT come with block heaters at Northside Nissan. The dealership will sell and install the block heater at an additional cost to the buyer. The sales manager refused to include this into the advertised price of the vehicle. In my opinion, block heaters are essential for cold weather climates and therefore should be a basic part of vehicles sold in Alberta. ”
“ I was with my friend during the delivery of his 2022 GLC 300 at Northside Nissan, and the experience was poorly handled. The original salesperson was absent, fees were unclear, and the car was delivered with damaged summer tires and an undisclosed rain sensor issue. After delivery, the dealership refused to help. “ After posting a Google review, I was contacted by Hasim (Manager) and later by Adam, who introduced himself as the General Manager. Adam said he had read my story and wanted to help resolve the issue. He asked me to come in and speak with him directly. When I met with Adam on Friday, January 30th, I clearly stated that I wanted a refund and to close my account, as I was sold a vehicle I did NOT request and the vehicle has ongoing issues. Theo, the sales representative, told me the vehicle had only one owner. When I finally received the Carfax, it clearly shows two owners, with a new owner reported in June 2025. This is misleading and a serious lack of transparency. Management refused to take accountability for: Selling me a vehicle I did not request Providing incorrect information about vehicle ownership Refusing a refund despite misleading sales practices Wasting my time by pretending they wanted to help I was told the vehicle was serviced, but I am not confident and will be doing a third-party inspection. This dealership lacks integrity and accountability. I would strongly advise anyone considering Northside Nissan Manning Drive to be extremely cautious and verify everything independently. Very disappointing and frustrating experience. I will continue to speak out about my experience at Northside Nissan Manning Drive until this matter is properly resolved. What occurred goes beyond poor customer service and crosses into misrepresentation, dishonesty, and negligence. In December 2025, I visited Northside Nissan intending to purchase a brand-new Nissan Kicks at 0% financing. The terms were not favorable, so I left.
