Our Nissan is no longer under warranty and therefore it is cheaper by FAR to have service done elsewhere!!!! For example the dealer is charging $200.00 for a measly battery clamp WHAT??? And $375.00 for a new battery? Plus labour on top of the $575.00 quote…I went to Canadian Tire and they replaced both battery clamps and put in a brand new battery including labour, all for $350.00!!!! SO….Nissan Dealer, I will come to see you when the only service available to me is not available anywhere else! Otherwise my brakes will be done elsewhere because again the price is outrageous!!!! But Ross is one great associate who was very polite and accommodating and made us feel very comfortable!!! ”

The sales manager refused to include this into the advertised price of the vehicle. “ After posting a Google review, I was contacted by Hasim (Manager) and later by Adam, who introduced himself as the General Manager. Adam said he had read my story and wanted to help resolve the issue. He asked me to come in and speak with him directly. When I met with Adam on Friday, January 30th, I clearly stated that I wanted a refund and to close my account, as I was sold a vehicle I did NOT request and the vehicle has ongoing issues. Instead of helping, Adam repeated what previous managers (Josh and Hasim) had already told me — no refund, only trying to push me into exchanging for another vehicle. I clearly stated multiple times that I did NOT want another vehicle. I only wanted my money back and to walk away. This was ignored. I was also misled about the vehicle history. Theo, the sales representative, told me the vehicle had only one owner. When I finally received the Carfax, it clearly shows two owners, with a new owner reported in June 2025. This is misleading and a serious lack of transparency. Management refused to take accountability for: Selling me a vehicle I did not request Providing incorrect information about vehicle ownership Refusing a refund despite misleading sales practices Wasting my time by pretending they wanted to help I was told the vehicle was serviced, but I am not confident and will be doing a third-party inspection. This dealership lacks integrity and accountability. I would strongly advise anyone considering Northside Nissan Manning Drive to be extremely cautious and verify everything independently. Very disappointing and frustrating experience. I will continue to speak out about my experience at Northside Nissan Manning Drive until this matter is properly resolved. What occurred goes beyond poor customer service and crosses into misrepresentation, dishonesty, and negligence. In December 2025, I visited Northside Nissan intending to purchase a brand-new Nissan Kicks at 0% financing. The terms were not favorable, so I left. I later informed the sales representative, Theo, that I might consider a pre-owned vehicle, but I was very clear that I did not want a basic trim — I wanted a higher trim. While I was at work, Theo contacted me and told me a 2017 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate was available, assuring me repeatedly that: the vehicle had no issues it was not a basic trim it was a higher trim (Ultimate) Based on these assurances, I proceeded. While still shopping around, Theo even discouraged me from purchasing a vehicle at a neighboring Hyundai dealership, claiming that the car I was viewing there had multiple owners and potential issues. Trusting his guidance, I returned to Northside Nissan, finalized the deal, and made a down payment. Before taking possession, I went to purchase winter tires. When I provided the vehicle details, the tire vendor informed me that the vehicle was not an Ultimate trim, but a basic SE model. After confirming through the tire specifications Theo himself sent me, it became clear that I had been lied to. When confronted, Theo dismissed my concern and made light of the situation instead of taking accountability. At this point, I had already committed financially. Vehicle Delivery Issues On January 11, 2026, I went to pick up the vehicle and dealt with Safwaan. I was assured the car had been fully serviced and washed. Immediately upon starting the vehicle: the engine warning light was on the car was dirty inside my license plate was not installed Despite raising concerns, I was told the engine light would “turn off once I drive.” This was false. I was sent to work without a license plate, which is illegal and unsafe. Later inspection revealed: the vehicle had not been washed debris was throughout the interior the plate was delivered later by Uber with incorrect bolts Mechanical Faults & Warranty Issues Despite purchasing a $2,500 warranty, the vehicle continued to display the engine warning light. Calls and messages to Safwaan and Theo were ignored. One receptionist even yelled at me during a phone call. When the vehicle was finally inspected, Ross (Service Advisor) confirmed two pre-existing faults: faulty spark plugs valve cover gasket issue This directly contradicted the claim that the vehicle had been inspected and serviced before delivery. Later, I was informed that insurance refused the claim because the issues were pre-existing, confirming that Northside Nissan attempted to pass the cost of repairs onto my insurance instead of taking responsibility. Management Acknowledgement On January 17, 2026, I met with Josh (Manager), who openly admitted that: the vehicle was SE (basic trim) management was aware of this Despite knowing this, the vehicle was still sold to me under false pretenses.
